Accreditation in Radiology

The Radiology Accreditation Panel is responsible for Radiology accreditation.

Expressions of interest are being sought from medical physics seeking to become accredited in Radiological Physics.

EIO will be received up until 5:00pm Sunday 31st April 2011.


Expressions must be accompanied by a non refundable deposit of $55 which will be deducted from the accreditation fee should the application be successful.

There are currently two pathways to accreditation:

Radiological Physics examinations

TEAP Radiology Medical Physics

This program commenced in 2004 . The program is currently being replaced by a new Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics (DIMP) TEAP which is expected to be available from 2012 at the latest. Physicists commencing employment after 2011 will be required to undertake the DIMP TEAP process to become accredited.
